Exploring Tourism Opportunities at the Travel & Adventure Shows

Recently, WildTrip magazine had the privilege of attending the Travel Adventure Shows at the Javits Center in New York and the Los Angeles Convention Center. These events offered a gateway to thousands of new vacation options worldwide, empowering attendees to customize and book their trips with the assistance of industry experts. Within the exhibition halls, attendees had the chance to listen to renowned figures in the travel world such as Rick Steves, Phil Rosenthal, and Pauline Frommer. Their insightful commentary and global destination knowledge were invaluable. For instance, Steves emphasized, Independent travel allows you to set your own pace, make your own choices, and discover what truly excites you. Regarding activities and experiences, attendees indulged in a plethora of interactive activities complementing the main exhibition. These included global food and wine tastings, cultural exhibitions showcasing authentic diversity, adventure demonstrations sparking curiosity for new experiences, and practical workshops on travel photography and cultural immersion techniques. These activities not only allowed visitors to explore destinations but also actively engage in the culture and essence of travel.

WildTrip recognizes the challenges facing the tourism sector in the Colombian Caribbean coast, particularly the lack of promotion of its extensive range of tourism products and services. With the firm intention of contributing to the evolution and enhancement of this sector in the Caribbean Coast, we have dedicated ourselves to researching fairs and shows where our brand can be showcased alongside our valuable allies, who are the backbone of this comprehensive project. We continue to explore spaces like the Travel & Adventure Shows, where quality, exposure opportunities, promotion, sales, and networking are paramount. Our goal is to participate in these events and provide attendees with an enriching experience that addresses their needs and concerns when choosing a travel destination.

Through our involvement in these events, WildTrip is committed not only to promoting the Colombian Caribbean coast but also to forging strategic alliances with the tourism sector in the region. We aim to highlight the importance of sustainable and community-based tourism, as well as the economic and social benefits that this promotion can bring to local communities. We look forward to continuing to contribute to the growth and development of tourism in the Colombian Caribbean Coast, and who knows, you might just find us at future editions of the Travel & Adventure Shows.
